Marilyn Chambers death not suspicious

Police says that porn star Marilyn Chambers aged 56 years died of natural causes and they are not treating the death as being suspicious.
Sergeant Mitch Loman of Santa Clarita’s Sheriff’s Department reported they went to the scene at around 8.30 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2009, where Chambers was found dead at her mobile home in Santa Clarita, a suburb of Canyon Country Los Angeles by the porn stars 17 year old daughter McKenna.
Sergeant Mitch Loman “This case is not under investigation as the person concerned ‘died of natural causes’ and the file has been passed onto the coroner’s office.”

However, An autopsy has failed to determine the cause of death for adult film star Marilyn Chambers.
Los Angeles County coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter said Tuesday that Chambers probably died of natural causes, but additional testing will be required to pinpoint the cause.

Marilyn Chambers, whose real name is Marilyn Ann Taylor rose to fame after starring in the X-rated classic Behind The Green Door in 1972. She had a bit part in the Barbra Streisand film The Owl and the Pussycat in 1970 but remained in adult entertainment.
Behind the Green Door, was one of the first films to depict interracial sex. In the film, Chambers had sex with African-American actor Johnny Keyes. Many in the adult entertainment world and viewing public were shocked at the thought of a white woman having sex with a black man.

She starred in 16 adult films in the 70’s and 80’s. She got her start as the face on the front of Ivory Soap detergent boxes, a contract she later lost because of her appearing in porn films.
Married and divorced three times, she is survived by her daughter, McKenna Marie Taylor; her brother, Bill Briggs; and her sister, Jann Smith.
