Hi Family!!
Have you all noticed all the material on the television refering to men wearing female lingerie?? I see comments/ jokes/ references all the time, and none in a negative light. It seems to me, that the fact that there is a considerable amount of men who enjoy some form of cross dressing, is acknowledged and accepted by the general society. Sometimes even in a positive light! For example, yesterday I saw a commercial by a major fast food company. In it a national sports figure and role model personality, is alluding to the fact that he wears female underware under his clothes!! It was cast in a funny light but also as a common and 'o.k.' personal quirk!

I see stuff like this everywhere! DO ANY OF YOU NOTICE THIS TOO?????
Why love half the world when you can love it all?
Feel free to message me if you want to be friends. Searching...

Yes I agree - there is a discernable trend. The bolder and more self assured WE become .... the quicker the complex sensuality of the male will be understood and the quicker our tastes will be considered "normal". VIVE LA REVOLUTION ! B)

It's funny how it takes a celebrity to endorse what us girls have been doing most of our lives. I too beleive it's becoming a trend and more accepted in society. I've made a few posts about the high school aged guys I've seen dressed as women in the past few months. I'd be interested to learn more about it and if in fact it's becoming popular with younger guys. I'd also be interested to hear from women who work at lingerie stores to learn if more and more men are openly shopping at their stores. There was in fact a time when it was taboo for a man to even -think- about walking into a lingerie store.

If in fact what we do blows up and becomes popular in celebrity culture, it will in fact leech into the common fashion scene and we'll all be in unique positions - those of us that want to come out to our wives will be presented with that option or some of us will be a little dissapointed - meaning that the very thing that made us different has been gathered up and exploited by popular culture - sort of like what happened with tattoos. It used to be that military, truck drivers, and bikers had tattoos, you know the 1% on the fringe of society and then they become popular with shows like Miami Ink and LA ink exploiting tattoos turning them into accepted objects of desire for today's youth and hipsters. Doctors, Lawyers and other white collared professionals proudly sport their tribal arm bands and favorite rock group logos on their bodies. It's going to be interesting to see if men wearing lingerie makes it to that point or if it will stay underground and remain a little too taboo even for the trendsters out there. Either way, I'm a happy panty wearing man, and I'm proud to say that I've been wearing almost all of my adult life and didn't jump on some 'this is the new thing to do' bandwagon.

We should definaltey keep an eye on this and see what happens!

I used to think time would change everything, including the exceptance of men in panties..However being a wearer & a bit of a drag queen,I doubt that society at least in my part of the world will ever really except men in panties, nor cross dressing for that matter.
in my circle of friends I hang with birds of a feather,90% drag queens....
Even gay men for the most part get turned off and have an issue with other gay men in panties I have found..?..

Yes but I fear it will also make sites such as this redundant. I certainly wouldn't experience the same pleasure out of providing this resource. Maybe we could do a full reversal and start a trend in underphants :)

i think taking the "tabooness" out of it would diminish it's appeal... at least for me anyway...

Yep. I agree, but I still wouldn't stop. I don't think it's going to really take off - if you read yahoo answers about Mothers and Fathers cathcing their sons wearing panties, almost all of them (the parents) think something is wrong with their son and want to know how to handle the situation in order to make him stop. I don't think it's going to be an accepted thing at home. However, the ironic thing is that being openly gay as a high school aged child is okay now, just don't wear panties. Strange I know.

first off I was suprised by the 'spokesman' they chose - a NASCAR Driver of all people ( them rednecks musta been pissed :yikes: ) - LOL - second of all my wife just kinda shook her head and said " now everybody's doing it" ( this was just days after I told her I wanted to wear 24/7 - but I also think that soon enough the taboo will be gone - will that keep me from wearing women's under clothes? - NO - I will not go backwards - I am too happy now
panties 24/7 and loving it !!

I don't think it will make any difference for me, either. Wearing girly stuff relaxes me. Not to get too psychological, but I think it relieves some of the pressures I feel every day. I own a company, and I feel a lot of pressure - especially these days - to make sure everything doesn't collapse - for my company and for my family. Society doesn't put those same pressures and responsibilities on real women.

I dress in women's underwear every day - panties and bra, hose if I'm going out (and it's not too hot), sometimes more. Almost all of my shoes and pants are from the girls' department. I usually wear men's shirts, but I wear women's sweaters and jackets. I pick my styles carefully because I don't want everyone to know that I'm wearing girl clothes (on the outside). But I'm sure a lot of people figure it out. (Just last night one of my mom's friends noticed my moccasin loafers and remarked how "cute" they were. Yes, they are cute.) Strangely, it makes me feel "better" to know that inside I feel like a woman because of my clothes even though I don't want to be a woman. And at the same time, there's the thrill of it and the fear of being found out.

Yes, rather confusing. I'd love to know if anyone else feels similarly.

Now, if I could get my wife on board my wearing bras. (I really like wearing a sexy, satin and lace, underwire bra.) And wearing baby doll nighties.

I've noticed this trend also! I think it is great! I doubt we will have to worry about it becoming so popular that it will become mainstream, but it is nice that it is coming more out in the open and being discussed. I am sure lots of guys would get in touch with their feminine side if society were more accepting!

Maybe someday....

Acknowledge and accept are two entirely different things and it is one thing to be aware that there are men out there who wear panties and that in theory there is nothing wrong with it, it is something entirely different for a lot of people to accept it if it is somebody that is close to you or if it is the guy across the gym change room, or if it the guy browsing through Victorias Secret nect to you...etc.

I do see more and more acknowledgment about men wearing women's panties and undies, but most of it, to me, looks and feels like they are poking fun at it. I don't think that it will ever be acceptable in the public eye. Although there are many of us out there trying on their wive's and girlfriends panties. Most men will just not admit to it. I don't care though if it ever becomes acceptable in the public eye, I will keep wearing my panties and getting tattooed. Hey what about a panty tattoo? Now that sound like fun.

I haven't really noticed anything, but then again i do not watch much tv. I did hear on the radio that a local bar was having a "dude looks like a lady" contest one night with a $500 cash prize for the guy that looked most like a lady. I wish I could have gone and participated in that, I am sure I could have won the $500.

There was a ad on T.V down here in australia that said " 1 in 7 men had said they had worn their partners underwear" so there you go, the other 6 don't know what they are missing :) or are telling lies

I read an article about how one top economic bigwig would judge the health of the US economy by watching the yearly sales of men's underwear manufacturers. He reasoned that men's underwear were strictly utilitarian and in hard times, men would not bother to resupply their underwear drawers, and that, in good times, they (or their wives) would again replenish the tattered old underwear supply.
,
He was alarmed at the drop in sales over the last few years.

I couldn't help thinking that sales figures were down because more men were wearing panties these days. I certainly have not purchased any boring, old white Y-front underwear for ages.
