BAFFLED religious leaders in India have been swamped by a bizarre new transvestite cult for men to live as a Hindu love god.
Thousands of devotees are now dressing up as Radha - the goddess lover of Krishna - like retired railwayman V K Saxena, 72.
Saxena, of New Delhi, told the Austrian Times: "I can't put it into words properly but I feel more holy dressed as a woman.
"The Lord told me he wanted me as his bride."
But the cult has astonished traditional religious leaders.
Senior priest Mohammad Ahangar said: "There are many ways to be closer to the Lord without trying to be his girlfriend."
At least in this religion you are not force to "remove" your penis and testicles like the Hijra.
Every time i read there is a "new" religion, i freak out and shake in fear. I always wonder " OK, what do these guy want to prohibit that it not already forbidden by some of the existing ones".
To my surprise, this new religion seems pretty harmless. After a couple of weeks taking makeup classes, they might even get someones attention besides Ronald McDonald's fan club.

OH PH you do have a way with words, It does seem like a really harmless religous attempt..but have to agree with Monica, think a special collection at the next meeting would be nice then they could hire a makeup specialist, believe she is bit over stated..

I'm guessing we all want some sort of miracle in our lives so one religion is as good as the next for a lot of false hopes. The upside for them is a religion is tax exempt here in the U.S. and they can pretty much make up the rules as they go.
