DUNN, NC (WTVD) -- A North Carolina man who deputies say has been showing it all to motorists for decades has finally been arrested.

Harnett County Sheriff Larry Rollins said John Edward "Eddie" Moore, 63, of Dunn is charged with felony indecent exposure after he allegedly flashed a woman with children in her car along U.S. 301 between Dunn and Benson.

Rollins said his department has been getting reports about Moore for about 20 years, but they've never been able to make an arrest. That's because he's always been on his own property - sometimes flashing people from his window or from the side of the road wearing a thong.

The sheriff says previous cases were borderline illegal, and officers didn't arrest Moore.

But last Tuesday, an Erwin woman with her daughter, two grandchildren and two stepchildren in the car said Moore went a lot further than just flashing her in a thong. She claims he took it off and shook his private parts at her.

Rollins said Moore did it in a state right of way and now there's enough evidence to charge him. He was taken to the Harnett County Jail and placed under $35,000 bond.

Guys like this are just weird. I know what everyone is going to say, ah I shouldn't judge, blah, blah, blah. But you can't go around showing off your private parts to people who don't want to see them. Especially when there are kids around.

I mean he's a good looking chap he could of had almost any woman he wanted, has that nose been sewn back at sometime in his life.
