If someone offers to sell you women's panties at a deep discount, there's a good chance the undies are hot.
Five hundred pairs of panties valued at $8,000 were pilfered from the Victoria's Secret store at East Towne Mall on July 18, allegedly taken by two men seen running out of the store by the store manager.
"When staff looked to see what the two men had been doing, they realized 500 pairs of underwear were stolen," said Madison police spokesman Joel DeSpain.
The panty pilferers were described as black males, 6' to 6'3" tall, 20-25 years old, with muscular builds and wearing dark coats.

These stories of many panties being stolen always amaze me. I just can't understand how in today's world, when you are on camera in just about everyplace you go, that you can steal 500 items regardless of what they are, and get away without anyone noticing.

Same here PS I have never been in a VS store but how long is it before the distribution depot gets raided or even a delivery truck getting held up at gun point. Their Insurance premiums must be huge or do they even claim because if I was the insurer I would be demanding tighter security. Still at the massive profit margins you only need to read 50 cents lost per panty so when they say $1000 of stock it's only $25 at cost.
