Can anybody recommend similar styles/models ... I think the material is microfiber, it feels incredibly great.
It might help if you could post a pic of the items, or a link to someone who offers them for sale?

You mean the price was too high? The hang tags and what I can make out of the waist tags look like they are probably WalMart's house brand, but I can't be sure from this pic. They might also be Kmart's. Point me to the vendor and maybe I can tell where their stock is coming from in general -- that's usually a good indicator for many eBay sellers, as each tends to identify one or just a handful of sources (except for some of the bigger ops and those that do mostly vintage).
Did you see any pics that allowed you to make out the writing and branding, on either of the tags? Of course, this doesn't guarantee that the store in question is still selling these, but they do look like something I've seen lately at WalMart and/or Kmart. Target's another possibility, but the tag graphics don't strike me as theirs. But I've been mistaken before.
P.S. In the interest of topicality, these look to me like nylon mesh, and though that doesn't entirely rule out microfiber, it would be atypical. Because microfiber by definition is made using incredibly fine "threads" it is more likely to be very opaque, very, very soft and smooth, and have a very limp, sexy drape, and be a bit like spandex in its form-fitting qualities.

Yes the final selling price was out of my budget especially when S&H fees were added ...
This is the only picture I have of them and it isn't clear enough to read any more info ...
as far as the vendor .. Do you mean the ebay seller? or the Brand name?
Haven't been to the feminine panty section of Wal-Mart for a while but if they where there I missed them .. maybe not a stock item for Kansas stores ... Yes I agree they look like microfiber to me also but the description said they were silky soft nylon with lace .... maybe they were mistaken ...
Thanks for the response ..

The eBay seller -- a URL or just an eBay ID would do.
As for product descriptions and their accuracy on eBay, need I really go into that? (I'm sure (if it was wrong) that it wasn't inaccurate for any but the most innocent of reasons. Though to be fair, many vendors (especially when it comes to vintage) are very good about either having a clear idea of just what sort of fabrics were used, often down to fairly minute distinctions between one blended fabric and another -- or at least they tend to call out instances where they're just not sure, but have a few guesses you're welcome to consider.
In any event, wherever they came from, that sort of design tends to have fairly high turnover for new styles. Anything with extra decoration, especially, tends to be in and out in (at most) a matter of months (with some exceptions).

I have the EXACT same pairs, and others in different colours. I bought them at Walmart.

I'm sure they'll be cheaper than eBay. Very little of WalMart's stock even approaches typical discounted department store pricing. I'd be shocked if you were to pay anything over $5, and that would probably cover a twofer deal.

Thanks everyone ... but I have to admit .. I am an eBay Junkie .. something exciting about bidding against another person for that one piece of naughty or sexy lingerie ... at least I have the will power to stop when the price gets ridiculous although I have paid too much for some items that I just couldn't get out of my naughty mind ... any one know the address or meeting times for EAA .. "eBay Addicts Anonymous"? I am sure I am powerless over my Online Auction Addiction ...

The tagged price as of today (June 4, 2005), was $2.88, sold as a single pair. This was the price for the hipster shown in black with fuchsia lace and detailing. They sell at least up to size 8, and probably you can find 9's too; I just was looking for other things (thread, patterns, outerwear) and happened to notice these on an end-cap in the main panty "fashion" section. They are WalMart's house brand (Secret Treasures) made of a 95% nylon/5% spandex mesh in the body. Here, at least, they were on an end cap facing the leftmost aisle perpendicular to the storefront, and across from the girl's department. (This has been the layout of every WalMart I've been in, but I understand there may be exceptions in other parts of the US, especially for those stores that carry nearly as much food as an average grocery store, stores I have yet to see in person.)
