This is my first poll so please bear with me if I do not do this right.
I was reading an old post started by Strops Wife in the new members section:
My husband wears my panties, Hello from both of us
She writes that she supports her husband in his panty wearing. One of the replies was from amy susan who answered:
“if more women felt the way you do, panties on men would
not be as taboo.”
That brings up my question.
Panties, Taboo? Is that why you wear?

I wear panties because I love the styles and colors, and they feel sooo much better against the skin than those old boxers or tiddy whites...and besides they do turn me on also, love that fem feeling

I would have to say it is one of the reasons. But not the whole picture. I enjoy the taboo but it does seem to fade some once you get used to it. I guess that I just like to change up what I wear and it also depends on how I feel too.

When I first started wearing panties as an adult, the fact that it was considered Taboo was a huge turn on. After wearing for most of my adult life now, the Taboo is still there but not such a big deal anymore. They just feel natural and I simply can't imagine wearing anything else. I like the millions of panty choices we have. So many different styles, colors and patterns. The choice is virtually unlimited. Mens boxers, bikini's or "tighty whities" are so BORING! The clothing industry should wake up and only offer Panties to everyone!

I love to wear panties because the tightness and the spandex in them make me more like a girl for hours. They also make me wanting to wear more girl clothes.

Being taboo adds excitement , but I would wear them anyways. If is wasn't taboo ti would be less hassle to buy them.

The taboo thing (or really, the secret wearing) is a turn on, but i would wear panties even if it werent taboo.

I would have to agree with everyone else. Even if wearing panties wasn't taboo I would still be wearig them. Panties are sooo much more comfortable than a mans underwear could ever think about being. Plus all the styles and colors that panties come in; I couldnt think about wearing anything else.

If I'm honest, the taboo is a big part of it. Same reason I like to show pantylines and have them peek out the top of my jeans sometimes. I've considered going back to men's underwear, though, and couldn't stand the feeling. Like wearing diapers compared to my silky panties.

I ware panties because i like the feel and look of the nylon on me, i must admit there is an excitement because there is a taboo to wareing them, but it is much less with the younger generation today. I have both guy and girl friends that know i ware and 98% of them have no problem with it.

Part of the reason for me is the "naughty" feeling of it since it is against the normal and I love the thrill of doing something like that. The other reason is comfort.
Let's face it. They are a thousand times more comfy than Y-fronts and I do not like the feel of Boxers when you're trying to get them under slacks/denim jeans.
It's a little of both.
Not to mention there is the sexual thrill of having sex with the wife while we're both wearing them.

I'm certain I'd wear anyway as I just think they're more appealing than boxers. If anything it owuld make life a little easier if they were more accepted IMO.
