TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Female students at Tamkang University were wondering why their panties were disappearing fast of late. Most of the students live in dorms and off-campus apartments near the university in Tamsui. They never lost their underwear before.
Starting this semester, they complained, their panties seem to take flight mysteriously. They found the answer on Thursday.
Police arrested a new assistant professor on charges of stealing underwear.
A graduate of Taiwan University with a civil engineering degree, a 33-year-old instructor identified only as Chiu, began teaching at Tamkang in last September.
"He is going to get married next month," a police investigator said.
Chiu was nabbed at his apartment near the university.
Police found close to 200 pairs of women's underwear at his home. He was even wearing a pair when he was taken into custody.
Students whose undergarments had gone missing were asked to claim them at the Tamsui police precinct. Few of them wanted to do so. "We don't want them," said a student majoring in English.
"They are cheap and we can buy replacements," she pointed out, adding, "Who knows whether he has soiled them?"

Well I should certainly HOPE he did...otherwise, what a waste of police time.

What makes this story so terrible....."what is going to happen to the 200 pair of panties after the court case, its just sooo upsetting that they most likely will end up in the garbage "That constitute panty abuse", they should have a law against that also...they need to find another good home

If more ladies understood mens character and was more open minded to the unusual men would not have to steal them and ladies you never know you might even get more than you bargained for. As for the paties I think they could make some real money to sell them at a police auction.

While stories like this can be amusing, they also illustrate what can happen when our compulsion for undies overwhelms our reason. If this fellow were to purchase his own panties and wear them...no problem; but stealing from female students steps over the line. Unfortunately, it is just this sort of thing that makes the rest of us subject to ridicule by society.
Many of us frequently wish that we would be accepted for who we are but how can we expect others to accept us when we are stealing other people's belongings, exposing ourselves in public and doing things that are offensive to others? I don't mean to be offensive to anyone here but, we all get stigmatized by this kind of over-the-line behavior.

at one time I felt the only way to get panties was to either steal them from my sister or hang out a laudermats where any number got lost or left in a washer/dryer. they placed them in a box and of coarse I had to look for my missing sock. The I got the courage to buy my own. A woman can buy mens underware and noone thinks about it so I thought why couldn't a man buy panties. Actually I kinda of cheated the first time. I bought a leotard and a pair of tights. I had them wrap it up as a gift. Then I tried the panites. K-MArt. three pack of cotton briefs. quicker. went through a line with a older woman a checkout. no problem Last time was a matching bra and panty set. went through aline with a yourng man in it, about 18-19. It was fun to watch him handle the bra. Sears, Victoria's secret and other cateloges are another ssource. And then the is the internet. Type in BALI and you can even find info for you to fit your panties and bras properly. Stealing is really stupid. Oh I forgot Thrift store but panty selection is poor. better for jeans, skirts, blouses etc.
