while checking out the gallery, i noticed that some of you girls use makeup.
it's so cool and you look so pretty
I have a problem with dark rings under the eyes, this seems to be a problem with age as i am now 54
i start out with a coverstick and then for foundation i use maybelline cream foundation.
i have never had a problem until this past year, i just don't know what to do?
on the cable i watch this (info thing show ) for a new product and i got so ripped it really sucks
and there still hitting my paypal card for $ 34.00 a month.
i watched this thing for sheercover and was blown away ( DON"T DO IT ) they sent this little box with a very small quanity,it dosen't work.
I was going to complain but what can i say" hi there my name is jim and your makeup isn't covering my circles". i'm trying to get paypal to stop payment!
I really do have a problem with this! if anyone knows of a real fix please let me know ( the makeup & not the paypal thing.
thank you,jim

Can't be sure of this advice without actually seeing the "problem" but here are some of the standard answers.
Btw, if you e-mail a pic (and it really should be a close-up of your eye(s) in fairly good definition) I might be able to be more specific. I do have a bit of experience in theatrical make-up, so have a few tricks that may or may not work for street wear.
Anyway, usually the main trick is to use a concealer that is dense enough (covers thoroughly enough) to ensure no or very little show through. If there's some sort of unusual discoloration, or what's going on has more to do with physical contours, there might be some uncomfortable "poor girl's" facelift techniques to try, but most of these are more useful for foreheads, jowls and other areas more on the margins of the face.
At a distance, even with serious bagging, you might be able to get by with counter-highlights and shadows -- that is, using different shades of foundation to "even out" the appearance?
I can't verify these ideas from practice, but I've heard of them plenty of times before:
- Apply hemorrhoid creme (be very careful not to get any IN your eyes, though);
- (Less drastic) Apply wet tea bags for several minutes.
