A transvestite from North Carolina has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping HER two young children from their father in Arizona, and then using his identity.
Shellie White was arrested after changing her appearance, and disguising herself as her ex-husband, Ernest Karnes. She lived using the identity of Karnes for over two years before being captured.
The U.S. Marhsals Service says White even told the children she was their father, and they believed her. Police say when she was captured, the kids asked why they were arresting their daddy.

Yes she did, but why was custody (I presume) given to the Father in the first place. That might be interesting.
