Wonderful panties, and what a great print! I'm assuming these are rayon, since you mentioned that up top. Looks almost like a fabric more commonly seen in blouses or summer dresses. Can you describe the "hand" (or feel) of the fabric? What about drape? Hard to tell from just one photo, but it looks fairly crisp. Of course with rayon it could be just about anything.

microfiber thongs are my favorite. satin would be second with a nice cotton pair a close third. never been much for silk, maybe just haven't found a good pair of them?!?
