Former British Prime Minister Maggie Thatcher's look inspires transvestite film!

Washington: Britain's Iron Lady Margaret Thatcher's style of dressing has inspired director Neil Jordan's new flick about a transsexual.

The film-maker says he dressed actor Cillian Murphy in a ‘Maggie' inspired power suit straight from the 1980s, including shoulder pads, for his role in up-coming movie “Breakfast On Pluto�.

“I wanted Cillian to basically look like Margaret Thatcher. I wanted a specifically English thing and he had to look beautiful, although Thatcher was never beautiful,� Jordan was quoted by Contactmusic,as saying.

“(Margaret Thatcher) was beloved of English transvestites for many years and I think she did like it. Well, she looked like a man, didn't she?� he added.

In the flick Murphy plays a young Irishman who moves to London in the 1970s and becomes a transvestite.
