Reaction to the decision by the Supreme Court of Canada to legalize swingers clubs continues to resound across the land and especially in homes where wives refuse to believe their husbands were totally kidding in a completely humorous way when, upon hearing the news, they may or may not have too eagerly said, "Um, so you want to give it a go?" (Come on, honey, it's called a joke.)

Religious groups have assailed the ruling as offensive to our national sense of decency. Civil rights advocates have hailed the loosening of restrictions on what people choose to do in private. And the editors of Penthouse Forum have put on an extra shift to handle the expected influx of correspondence. For people who aspire to do it with plenty of people in places where plenty of people have done it before with plenty of the people who've done doing it before, Canada has just become Fantasy Island, but without all the bell ringing and tedious sermonizing. (One news story put it this way: "Swingers across Canada cheered the ruling" -- thus creating the mental image of scantily clad persons from coast to coast taking time out of accessing the trousers of others to raise their thongs in joyful celebration.)

well, first I have to get my operation, then I have to want to date, then get married, so long way off
