been there also but went through the self checkout and a purple top with rinestone on the front would not scan, well here i was with 3 pairs of lacy panties and this top and babyoil what would you think. i was sweating and nervous but a customes service rep came up put in whatever she had to in the scanner and smiled and went on her way. I just smiled back at her and thanked her very much for her help and left. since then i have been back to that same Wal-Mart but now just go through the regular check outs and it doesn't matter any more if the cashier is a male of female.

Even though I have often ordered online and am lucky enough to have a wife who will buy me panties and other fem attire in stores I have still done so myself especially if away from home where no-one will recognize me. It has gotten easier over the years and I love browsing for and feeling the lovely soft panties and other frilly things that I so enjoy wearing. I only wear fem underthings now! Sissy Brianne

bought some new panties at TJ Maxx the other day. The cashier gave me the weird look, it may have been suspicious that I was buying only panties, not bras also. Anyway I played it off as "big weekend coming up" and she responded with "is that what you have on underneath those things" (referring to my uniform). I wasn't wearing panties at eh time underneath my clothes, otherwise I might have asked her if she wanted to find out! She's a middle age southern busybody, so I wasn't interested in piquing her curiosity. Rather,

Yea I have gotten the look once but ignored it, and last christmas I had a cashier try to explain the sizes to me. I just told her I buy what Im told. She was said ok and that was that. my sizes are not proportionate l or xl bra and size 9 panties. So she thought she would help me out. LOL no big issue for me.

In Canada at least, Walmart has a line called "George". I found some really great nylon briefs that are a perfect fit. The boys stay put and nothing rides up etc. I am on my way out today to get yet another package, just in case they discontinue the damned things!

I buy groceries at Wal-Mart a lot and will buy packs of panties almost every time and never has a cashier said anything to me about it.They have a good selection of nylon and cotton panties.The packs of 10 pair are a good bargain. I wish they still sold slips as I used to get a slip as well as panties when I shop there.

I try to buy from different places and simply convince myself that they think I am buying for someone else (no one has said anything to me yet). I have to say, sometimes I find it a major turn on and others it's a bit uncomfortable. I think it depends on the atmosphere in the shop, the assistant and the number and type of other customers!

Personally I prefer VS for my panties and bras. I used to buy from sears and Kohls, but it seems like there just aren't as many matching sets of bras and panties anymore. VS seems to be the only place where I can get matching bra and panties. I regularly buy my pantyhose from Wal Mart. One time I was checking out and the cashier asked me if the pantyhose were for me and kind of smiled at me. I wish I had told her yes. She was kinda cute and was probably into that. Oh well, maybe next time...

I went through the self checkout today @ Walmart. As I went to the specific lane, some idiot tried to cut me off from the side, but he realized I was ahead of him and I went ahead. Then the machine didn't seem to register the first panty I scanned and I did it a couple of more times, then it registered three pairs. I cleared it and had to wait for a clerk to okay that. Then it seemed to go smoothly except there was no beep to tell you how it was going, when I put the last panty in the bag the system said something to the effect of extra or unauthorized item; which I cleared because I was sure I had scanned it.

Finally I paid with the credit card and exited the store, I looked at the receipt and apparently I had stolen a pair of black Vassarette hi-cuts.

Please don't think ill of me it was totally unintentional, but I couldn't bring myself to go back in to customer service to say I had short changed you on these panties and would like to pay. That would be humiliating to do!!!

I have bought panties at department stores and lingerie stores lots of time. The part I love most about buying panties is the buzz I get from actually explaining that they are for me. One time I was looking at some panties in a womans clothing store chain called City Chic and the sales lady came up to me and asked me if I needed any help. I explained that I had been walking past the store and saw the nice red satin panty and bra set they had in the window as was interested in having a closer look at them. She then asked me what size I was looking for and I told her size 14 brief and 16C bra (Australian sizes). She said "wow a man who knows what size he is after, that is unusual", to which I responded "yes, well actually they are for me". She gave a great big yell "well good for you". They only had a size 16D or 18C bra (we went through the whole rack while I held the red satin panties while looking for the right sized bra). I then asked her if I could go into the fitting rooms and see which bra fitted me the best. She said of course I could and that I should try on the brief as well to make sure that they fitted right. So in front of all the other ladies shopping in the store I went to the fitting room and stripped down and tried on the red satin panties and bras (I had on a pink satin panty and bra on under my work clothes which I had to remove to try on the new set). The panties fitted great and the size 18C bra fitted best, so I got dressed again (in my pink satin panty and bra) walked out of the fitting room, once again in front of all of the other ladies (some with husbands with them) up to the sales lady and gave her my selection. After I had paid for it I asked her if she would remove the sales tags and if I could go back into the fitting room and put them back on to wear out. She gave me a great big smile and said "sure". She then gave me a bag (with City Chic all over it) to put my other stuff in when I got changed. So back to the fitting rooms I went again and got changed into my new underwear. As I walked out she was waiting for me and she said 'I bet that feels better', to which I responded that it sure did, and then I opened my bag and showed her what I had taken off.

I was very excited as I left the store and walk past it everyday waiting for them to get a new range of lingerie in so that I can try some more on.

i usually buy my own but sometimes my wife will get me some she thinks i would like. i buy mine at tjmax or when in london tkmax..also get them at marshalls..victoria secret and fredricks of hollywood. depending on style and man ii take 7 to 3x.

I buy my own panties and bras (usually in the USA as they have a better selection) at walmart or Kmart. I was buying a slip and the cashier made a joke that it wouldn't fit me, I just said it had better as it did in the changeroom. Another time I was buying some panties and the young girl said my wife would love them. Most of the time they don`t even look or care!

i had the same idea as the OP (self check out lines) but they were closed, so i just picked up a few things and left pantyless. i'm too nervous to go face to face with the cashier, so i'll keep ordering on line.

As someone stated, you just get used to it. I have purchased panties so many 100's of times I have lost count. I received one comment in all of that time. A pretty young sales lady smiled and said, "Nice Taste". I just smiled and replied, "Thank you".
