I am new to buying my own panties and I was just wondering how to go about finding a nice fitting size. I am ~5'10" ~140lbs, have a waist of 29 and hips are like 31, I think. Do you just eyeball it, wing it or what? I have been looking at the women's sizing scales and they are just really confusing, every brand seems to be way different as well.
Thanks!

Judging from your post, I'd venture to guess that you're either a size 6 or size 5 (US) misses. I'd start there buying one of each size in the same style and manufacturer then see which ones had the best fit. If that doesn't work, try a 7.
The other thing you need to be aware of is that in different styles you may need another size. For instance, these days I take a size 8 brief but a size 9 or 10 is better for a bikini (damn I need to lose some weight).
BTW, that's a great chart Pantyholic! Need to know what various countries sizes are when buying internationally off eBay.

plus, you don't want to purchase something so tight that it becomes so uncomfortable after an hour,,,,, get something that you can wear all day... just enjoy your panties!!!,, also,, if you purchase some that are too big,,,,,,, don't throw them out,, save them,, for the times that you might want something a little more lose to wear... i see myself bouncing between 6 and 7 all the time,, and will usually wear a 5 thong over my 6 briefs,, (feels like my satin is hugging me)...
