For comfort, High cut for me.
Boyshort not only do I dislike the style, but the name is awful, it would be like having girlfronts as a type of mens underwear. Marketing would throw that straight out the window I would think.
They should rename them all

Clearly you're not a marketing consultant (at least not for the apparel industry).
Personally I don't like boyshorts because they bind for me and are too loose exactly where I need panties to be tight. But I don't begrudge the name. I see it as just another like "boyfriend shirt."
Would that things were otherwise, and we could all walk around in feminine frills in public without fear of gawking or even threats of violence.
Granted, women daily face threats of violence in ways that fairly few men do, as long at men take care to butch up and avoid making any kind of threatening eye contact or gestures to others.
Be that as it may, if there's a pang for me around terms like boypant it has mostly to do with the constant reminder that a woman wearing a man's shirt or other clothing, unless she goes out of her way to effect a full disguise, will be "read" as a women, often all the more feminine for it, in fact, especially if she has the right sort of "boyish" or gamine figure and pixie-like facial features.
Yes, OKAY!, it boils down to pure jealousy for me. :pout:
Btw, there are a number of subcategories not listed in the options, such as brazilian cut, "v" string (or g string), tanga and so on. And I'm sure there will be new variations to come along in the years to come, which I look forward to, so long as they are less in the vein of the boypant, which I think is cute on a woman with small hips, but otherwise a bit on the boring side.

Iagree with Jim471 I have worn them all at one time or another . Today its a full cut breif with lace accents and a pad under my pantyhose. my favorite is still a hi-cut breif allthough a thong under a full lce boyshort is nice

I just voted - THONGS! I have been wearing Thongs 24/7 for several years now, every since I discovered them. I find them to be very comfortable and supportive. I have so many that I may never get around to wearing them all. I also have a few biniki styles and some hi-cut styles. These type are just for play or wearing to bed once in a while.
My wife does not care for my CD'ing at all. But, doesn't say a lot about my 'panties', other than complaining about how many I have in my drawers.

XO to all. Kym and I agree that we love them all and need a new poll with all of the above (or below) and PH has it right. We need new names for a new breed of panty wearer. I have been wearing panties from the age of 12. I am 63 now so I have tried a lot of different styles, materials, and sizes. Over the years I have found that I like a nice streach bikini panty. They hold me in place and let me pop out of the top when I get some wood. I like something that is going to hold my balls and not have them hanging out of my panty, or stradleing my panty corset.
I think that panties are up to the wearer as to what is best. Of curse green is the best color.
