That being said.. everyday we give up more of our rights...most unknowingly. I have the double firewall and other apps going, but quite frankly there is nothing that couldn't be hacked into. My fear is that the threat of terror of another kind...the use of the web to shutdown utility and, transportation, grids....and coruption of financial systems...etc. The list is long and very scary and the terrorists we all know and hate are not all cave dwellers and are very tech savvy... the world is a very frightening place to say the least

Sounds like Die hard 4 one of the best IMHO mainly because the plot is believable, it was only ruined because no matter what happened to Bruce Willis, fell 100 feet, got blown up, he just got up and walked away from it.

Thanks Carla.
Just opted out, on this machine.
I have to add that how I read the Opt Out thing, it applies to each browser. So if you use more than one machine, each machine has to Opt Out. I assume that if you use more than one browser on one machine, each browser you use has to be "Opted Out" also.
Crafty tracking device. Not like I really care but....

Perhaps the best thing to remember is that any government that can grant you a freedom can take it away. I keep my panties ready for the next social revolution: Public lingerie wearing as a fashion statement by men everywhere.

One then must ask, "Who is watching the Watchers, and to that end?" Democrats, Republicans or whatever, it's always about the money. Follow the money trail and who benefits the most and you'll have your deep, dark snoopers. My opinion is it's more a big business thing than government. The use and proposed uses of the RFDI chip in more and more things and more and more people is being promoted as a safety and security measure but, in the end it's a mass marketing scheme and it's ALL about money.
It's been said that Freedom is the first casualty of the war to protect security. Look at pre-WWII Germany and how much people gained and lost in that department over the next decade or so. Any nation or group of nations that has so much wealth to spread around without public accountability will abuse the trust of the people who put them in power.
I say, "Up with nylons and down with panties and let the good times roll.
