Biker stitches panty quilt


Louis Garrett of Louisiana, known to his friends as Shovelhead, has a number of hobbies

including making quilts from ladies underwear.


LOUISIANA, MO. -- He's a hard-core biker with a sensitive soft side. Truly, how many Harley owners do you know who stitch quilts on the side?

And have you ever met a HOG lover who makes his quilts out of women's panties?

And let's not forget this character has his nickname "Shovelhead" tattooed just below the bridge of his cap. Yep, right there on his forehead

so you won't forget his name—as if anyone could forget ol' Shovelhead.

But back to the panty quilt…

Louis "Shovelhead" Garrett rents out the basement of his mother's house in Louisiana, Mo. That's where he crafts his one-of-a-kind quilts.

He's kind of picky with his panties. He'll accept silk, acetate, nylon, even rayon. But polyester panties need not apply.

"I don't want them cheap, dollar store, not-sexy-farm-girl panties. I want classy."

And no granny-panties. Quilting may sound like a grandma kind of hobby, but Shovelhead's standards require a more Victoria's Secret appeal.

I'm not an expert on quilts but I thought a quilt was made up from bits of material and not as this case sewn onto a sheet surely that's cheating.

oh my,now there's a new twist,rather boring though..
would have been so much better if they had been souvenirs of past moments of affection.

I'd assume the panties were cleaned before using them. And I don't think anyone has ever slept under it. Of course I know everyone here would've the day it was completed if we were in the position to.

It is a museum piece now, so even if not cleaned originally it surely has been since.

A panty quilt would be great, but it needs to be made totally from panties, not just panties sewn onto a blanket. You're right PH, that is cheating.

would make a great conversation piece..only thing for me,I like to get off before sleep,laying in bed,just stroking away,usually with a pair of nylon panties wrapped around tiny jim..after having it for a month there would be protein stains everywhere

Great idea, but would want it made from just panties. I'd be washing it so often it wouldn't last long. Think I'd rather wear them.
