Hi pad wearer?for me i love sofy maxi pads,what about you cds?

Nowadays, today's pads aren't what they used to be. they are much thinner and not as soft and fluffy like pads back in the good ole days. I currently use medlines or equaline pads as they are still the old traditional flat pads. Otherwise, Tena pads would be my alternate choice.

Have to say that I don't know on this one but will be paying close attention to this thread. I haven't wore a pad in years, perhaps 10 or more and haved moved country since. I happened to buy some today but just bought a shop brand of pads that seemed like they are big enough to feel good while wearing. But I am definitely going to pay attention to this thread especially to the responses from UK members to get a feel for what is best over here.

One of my favourites is Laurier F. The night range is new and I've yet to try it


Right now I'm using Whisper Ultra, which is quite good too

I tried this Laurier Superguard Extra Long 34cm which is really thick

problem for me is that none of these pads are the traditional thick flat pads that we used to see back in the ole days. Back then, they are really thick, fluffy and soft against your skin, unlike most of these products. the surface is a little rough and can get irritating at times.

I prefer the Stayfree pad but the wife has now switched to something else so I wear what she wears.

I wear kotex overnight and like the other posts nothing compares to the old style. I was trying for a while to find the old kotex you wear with a belt, but alas no luck. I hear the UK still has Dr. Whites with a belt, but I haven't checked them out yet.

Thanks for that I will check out the sofy ones when I am next in the shop. The ones that I did buy are doing the job of getting me back into it. They are just store brand overnight ones but they are big and feel really wonderful. I do very much miss this feeling. Definitely getting back into it!

decided to try Always overnights. They are very long. It is like two pads joined together. My worry is someone will see the lines in back and know I am wearing a pad that size.

Problem with always is the dry weave they have on the pad. it is not soft and can get irritating on the skin after a while.

I prefer the Dr. White`s looped sanitary towels, they fit much better because they are hold in position by a belt.

I just bought a few bags of dr whites sanitary towels from ebay. Just arrived last weekend. Put them on and man, these pads are REALLY soft and fluffy. this pad is as traditional as it gets! Makes you feel like you are cloud 9 compared to any of today's modern pads.

I fully agree - did you buy a belt as well?
It is absolutely necessary to use a belt with this type of towel.

Wellll, no, I did not use the belt. At least for how I use the pads, I don't need the belt!

Lately, I like the Always Infinity pads...they don't have that plastic overweave cover they used to have (I find them irritating too, maxipadlover.) I used to like Stayfree traditional maxipads (deodorant), but the thinner Infinity pads have won out. I don't want them showing at all, and I like the feel & the overnight ones are long enough to catch any drips from front and back!

I tried the Laurier F Night and I must say this is my current favourite!
