Hi girls, I had a thought occur to me today as I was coverting a pair of panties that were showing through a ladies skirt, I think by being attracted to the wearing of panties, stockings, bodies etc for pleasure shows us as being very masucline. Let me explain. Some of our number wear womens clothes because they are women trapped in a man's body. Fair enough. Others do it for sexual gratification. These are the men to whom I refer. The answer, too much sex hormones!
We are more manly than men who don't wear panties.
I intend to carry out a full survey and publish my report to the general medical council, I could become as famous as Darwin.
I might just keep it to my self and be more discrete, I think the world may not be ready for my ideas.

while I don't consider myself manly at all, in fact I am quite feminine, and the clothing really does not arouse me in the slightest, if you need a test subject, let me know, I'd be more than happy to answer your questions

My dear Frillies,
You have made my point perfectly. It is men like you to whom I was refering.
You are a man's man working in a man's envionment. I bet you wouldn't dare even think of telling any of your workmates about this site let alone let them know your special secret, would you?
But you visit a special part of you that longs to be Fem. You get off by being girly wearing sexy panties etc. It is great isn't it?
I am like you, I am outwardly a straight manly type but I have strong sexual urges. My needing to be Fem at times I put down to having plenty male sex hormones. So, you and I could be said to be more manly than our workmates who haven't visited the other side.

dear mandy i couldnt ever tell anyone i work with, they would laugh me off the job.i do sometimes wear panties to work and its quite scary but also very thrilling.when i get home i am so horny.i often wonder what would happen if i had an accident and the ambulance crew had to cut my trousers off, imagine the shame of lying there in pain in some silky panties.the humiliation.i could have the most stressfull of days but once those panties go on,i just turn into this girly slut and my fantasies run wild xxx

Hi Mandy,
You broach an interesting subject. For starters if one is straight then it seems its for the feminie feeling, the thrill of doing something others arn't aware of or the desire to experience a more feminie relationship with a woman.

I am bi and oddly enough I could play the submissive role or the dominant role. It would all depend on my partner.

But so much for all of that - children require my attention - I'll get back to this later.......

I'm not quite sure I agree with any of it. Once I put on a pair of panties I'm ready to be submissive to either sex, especially males. The panties or lingerie only amplify the hidden side. I would suckle a man's penis or spread my butt cheeks for him because the lingerie makes me feel it is my place to do so. And I feel totally comfortable doing it because I am a sissy in panties and lingerie. Not only that I enjoy doing it and crave it, or I wouldn't be typing this. I just wish more guys enjoyed my kind of attention. I would be more fufilled, ( and filled ).

I'm not sure I follow this "more manly" than Mr X part because Mr Y wears panties.
I don't think manly is the correct word, if Mr X enjoyed living on the edge by climbing mountains unaided, does that make him more manly than Mr Y who wears panties, or more crazy?
Is a man who works as a mechanic, more manly than a man who works in a hairdressers?
I think we all have our own different perceptions, likes and dislikes, making it rather difficult to call someone/people as manly based on a specific thing.

Exactly PH ... What a man or a woman does for a living or for recreation has very little to do with their gender-mind or their sexual preferences (in my opinion anyway).

I myself am Bi-Gendered ... meaning I have both a strong masculine side and a well defined but softer feminine side to my persona .. and both of them work together 24/7 to make me the total person I am every minute of everyday ... While my sexual preference leans towards ST8 or lesbian sex with another feminine person (of either gender) I also have Bi-Sexual tendencies and feelings which magnify themselves when ever I am dressed in feminine clothing or lingerie and around a gentle, affectionate, understanding man who is willing to look beyond my gender of birth and allow me to be myself and use all my talents and charms to pleasure both of us in whatever way we both agree and desire.

So do I wear Ultra Feminine lingerie because I love it or because it arouses me sexually? Yes for both reasons but I do not worry about which one is more prevalent I just love being allowed to be me for what ever reason I choose at the time.

Your Sister & Friend in Panties Always,
Michelle Jo

I have to confess, my initial idea was very tongue in cheek. I did then think that maybe there could be something in this and carried it on.
I hope that I haven't upset anyone as that was not my intention.
It was simply the idea that made me smile, a man wearing frilly panties might have more testostorone than a hurly burly he-man.

A very sorry mandy. :(

Not at all.......... well you never upset me anyway, I was just waiting with baited breath for your published report professor.
This new theory might of put pantykin on the front page of New Scientist, so in a way I'm a bit disappointed .
Although I guess it would be true to say that some men who wear panties have more testosterone than say someones perception of a mans man, who for instance is into body building, chews on steroids, and needs a splint taped to his cock in order to get the bugger upright.......... no offence intended to muscley men by the way

Same here Mandy I wasn't upset or offended ... I only hope my answer didn't offend or upset you ... It is a very interesting theory and it may have some level of truth behind it ... I was just saying I didn't feel it was true in my case.

Heyyyyyyyyyyy Mandy I like my Sister Michelle Jo am Bi-Gendered. if i post a compleate photo of my self you would most likley say to your self he is a man, but if you talked and got to know me you might thing otherwise. I am more confortable with Girls than with men who mostley want everyone to know they are Man. now dont get me wrong I love Women and if you put a man and a Woman in Feminine thing side by side I most likley would go the the women just as long a I could be Feminine. So for me I wear Ultra Feminine lingerie because I love it and because it arouses me sexually.

I wear panties and lingerie because I LIKE TO!!! HELL, I'm supposed to like it! That's why the stuff is made. Otherwise women would just wear "Grannies". They are supposed to be the most comfortable (I wouldn't know as I have never touched the things myself - no offense to those amoung our ranks who like them) My wife would much rather sleep in flannels than a sexy chamise or teddie any day. The stuff is made for the sole purpose of turning MEN on, not women.

The diversity of panty-wearers (and their motives) is probably too great to be of much real value. Also, this thread demonstrates just how difficult it is, even to agree on definitions vis a vis just what makes for a "manly man."

But I do believe your observation has some merit. However, it's my sad duty to inform you that this observation has already been set down in the psycho-medical literature on cross-dressing (and related) behaviors, at least where they fit the model of paraphilias. And it even has some credence among a subset of those who seek sex reassignment therapies -- that is, hormones and (sometimes) surgery.

(I also appreciate that this all stemmed from a little jest and pray I won't get completely flamed for posting the VERY shortest version -- or at least the shortest I could manage, which is not saying much.)
