NEW ORLEANS – Police are investigating an early morning shooting in which a male prostitute who was dressed as woman was shot near the intersection of Tulane Avenue and South Miro Street, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Around 4 a.m., First District police officers were called to a shooting in the 2400 block of Tulane Avenue, according to police.
According to police, the victim, “a self-admitted prostitute who dresses as a female,” was shot after engaging in sexual acts with the shooter.
“The victim was offered a ride which was refused,” said a statement from the NOPD. “The perpetrator insisted, and again the victim declined. As the victim walked away the perpetrator shouted at the victim. As the victim turned to look back he observed the subject holding a small black semi-automatic handgun.”
The victim said he heard about five shots fired as he ran toward a hotel on Tulane Avenue, according to police. The victim was hit once in the back and sustained one superficial wound from the gunfire.
According to police, the shooter is described as having a medium complexion with a short fade hair style with a wave, was approximately five feet, six inches tall and weighing about 140 lbs. He was wearing a long black t-shirt with a white tank top underneath, navy blue fruit of the loom boxer briefs and dark blue jeans.
The shooter was seen fleeing in a light gray four-door sedan, possibly a Mazda or Infiniti, with charcoal gray interior.

That's horrible. I hope they catch this jerk. Unfortunately, I doubt if it's very high on their to do list. Sadly, these types of crimes never are.
