I just read this article the other day and I thought it was very interesting and I just wanted to share. This information appeared in Consumer Reports Shopsmart, January 2011 issue.

Out of a 1000 women survey the following are some results:

The color of their favorite panties: 29% white, 21% black, 15% beige or nude, 9% pink 8% a print, 5% blue, 4% purple, 2% red and 1% green.

56% of women fold their undies; 27% just toss them in the drawer.

Biggest complaint: Wedgies

Biggest underwear offense: Thong or panties that stick out.

10% of women admit to sometimes going commando in public and a previous poll revealed 19% of women are more likely to go braless.

This was very interesting: Women own 21 pairs of panties, on average; 1 in 10 owns 35 pairs or more. So that means a lot of us here at PK own more panties then our female counterparts.

I am sure that I have more panties than my SO. As well as far more sexy. In the beginning, I would buy her nice and sexy lingerie. But soon afterward, her daughters would take them never to be seen again. No doubt, they would end up laying on the bedroom floor at some guys home. these are some interesting facts! Where did you find them? I'd love to also know what type of panties women buy mosy and which women wear the most. also I'd love to know what the most popular materials after cotton are.

I read the article in Consumer Reports Shopsmart, January 2011 issue. There really wasn't anymore information other then general information on buying and what shapewear worked better for women.

Yes, PH, I did the math and your correct, it didn't add up to 100%, so if the 17% didn't have their panties taken, they didn't answer the question or their SO are wearing them or in the SO drawer.

I know I have more panties than my SO. Mine are far more sexier, she is overweight and only wears white cotton briefs. I have 50 to 75 pairs, cotton to nylon, prints and colored. Gotta love them panties!!!

I have way more panties then my wife, and she has a ton, which I have purchased every single pair for her. I have a bunch of hers that are her cast offs. I can tell you that my wife prefers pink panties, folds them neatly in the drawer, her biggest complaint would be wedgies, her biggest underwear offense would be vpl, and she never ever goes commando or braless, and she has more then 50+ pairs of panties. Heyyyyyyyy Suzi i am back. my wife has not bought a pair of Panties in 18 years i buy all her Panties and she like mostly cotton, she has some micro fiber and when she want something sexy she gets from my Panty drawer. oh i did tell a fib she does buy Panties but not for herself but for me. she fold hers and likes darker colors

I have more styles, colors and sexier panties then my SO. My SO likes pink and black colored panties mostly cotton, with full back coverage. She doesn't like thongs or G-strings. She may have approximately 30 pairs and my last count I was slightly over 100.

I think this article goes to show that females have a much larger selection of panties. I would bet that no two pairs are the same! I don't have a SO but when I did, she would toss hers in a drawer which made it easier for me to take out and play with.

That is interesting. Would love to have known their favorite fabrics. I would have thought their biggest complaint was having them stolen.
