Barboursville, West Virginia - Police reports from the Barboursville Police Department provided the following information:
A 56-year-old man from Huntington told police he was sunbathing Saturday, July 10, but the officer charged him with misdemeanor indecent exposure. The officer found the man about 12:30 p.m. lying in the bed of a silver Dodge Dakota. It was backed into a gravel parking lot near the shooting range near the Barboursville Park Soccer Complex
The man was dressed in a loose-fitting thong with specific areas of his body exposed.
Quote specific areas of his body exposed  Why do they always beat around the bush, why not be more specific about the specifics.

I just want to live somewhere where you can play soccer and go shooting at the same complex.
As far as why they don't say the specifics? Because most likely the only part hanging out was his butt cheeks, but since a man in a thong isn't "normal" they spice it up to make the reader think their is more to it than their really is. It's how the media works. They don't specifically lie, but the leave out crucial information.

Interesting, I think people just need to be smart about choices they make. If he had on a thong while sunbathing on a beach, it wsould not have been such a big deal as long as he didn't have any private parts exposed. But when you do it next to a public area that is not open to almost nude sunbathing it makes people nervous here in the States. People are too uptight on this side of the pond.

Were there people complaining about some guy laying in the back of his own truck? Depending on how loose fitting, there could have been a lot showing. People need to go find a hobby, like going to a shooting range or something.
