I am very curious as to this because I like to buy my own and I get a thrill from wearing panties that I borrow from ladies. I have not had the chance to wear a man’s pair so I am not sure how I would feel unless of course I thought him very HOTT. In that case, I would more than likely like it.

Buying them can be difficult for me as I have a hard time going out on my own and buying them at a store, I am too self-conscious. I do buy them on line from time to time, but I get ones that end up not being what I hoped for at all.

Taking them from a young lady is super boner inducing for me, but I am sure my wife would get very angry if she caught me doing that (I hope she does not check this post out).

So how do you all go about it and what turns you on?

I only have a few pairs at the moment, as I had to get rid of my stash, all "borrowed" from my ex wife and my daughter, either when i have visited their house or when my daughter stayed over at mine. I love used ones but also love shopping for them. I shop mainlky in big dept stores a few towns over and have a day of panty shopping.

Buying them at a store can be a little nerve racking, and beleive me TheWez, you're not alone. Lots of members here get nervous when panty shopping, however after a while you'll get used to it and not have a problem shopping for yourself. You have to remember a few things when you're out shopping: [1] The clerk who asks you if you need help or cashes you out could care less who the panties are for or what you plan to do with them - she's at work doing her job and that job is customer service. [2] If you're worried about being spotted in the store, go to a lingerie store a town or so over from you, that might help put your mind at ease a little more.

For a long time i would only buy one or two pair a year from Target,Kmart etc and make them last, about 12 months ago my collection started to grow and 6 months ago when i met my girlfriend and confessed to wearing panties iy has exploded now i have as many as her and we have matching pairs, she is always surprising me with a new pair. When our circumstances change we plan to go on a shopping spree together just for panties.

I have read about guys having trouble buying in stores in many different threads and on different sites. I don't understand the big deal. No one cares what you're buying or who you're buying for. I'll admit I was a bit self consious at first and I have been spotted by people I know while browsing the lingerie aisles. I don't come right out and say I'm buying for myself but, if asked, I won't deny it. Like Nike says "Just Do It!"

I like to shop for panties at Kohls. Yeah you may get some looks from other customers, but the store employees don't care as long as your spending money. I have bought from secondhand shops also. The more you do it the easier it gets.

I buy my own panties at the stores. I've been doing so for years. At first I was nervous just like everyone else, but with each shopping trip it became easier.

I've also taken panties from females I know or have known, which too is a great feel just knowing their pussy had been inside of the panties. I don't many panties anymore. I pefer to buy mine.

I agree, I used to work at a store when I was in college, and I never batted an eye, or smirked or anything when a customer approached me to pay for panties.......The last thing a store wants is to make a customer uncomfortable and not come spend money at the store anymore.

I used to have a hard time buying at the store. I went to a 24 hour K-Mart once, and did browse around and realized it felt a lot more likely I'd be ridiculed buying panties at 3 in the morning than if I was in a bustling store in the middle of the day. Needless to say, I didn't buy then. Now that I'm more comfortable, I'd probably have no problem.

A technique that did work for me was to visit out of town locations to purchase. Either during a road trip or just a town over. This wasn't for the comfort with the cashiers but for the possibility of a friend or coworker spotting me. This was easy in the bay area where I used to live, but now that I'm in a smaller town on the central coast, it is much harder feeling I'm not going to run into someone, but I persevere.

If I couldn't overcome that feeling then I'd go ahead, and recommend it for anyone who feels the same, to mail order. You can still look around your local stores without buying to ensure what you want to mail order, and if worse comes to worse, you can experiment with the mail ordering. I mean you already no some things you don't like from previous orders, you are surely getting to the styles, sizes and materials that you like by process of elimination.

At first, I only felt comfortable shopping online, but I found those experiences to be a little hit and miss - especially with the fabrics. After I got over that first nervousness of shopping for panties in person, I don't think I would ever want to buy online again. One can't quite beat the freedom of seeing all the styles in person and finding the right fabric.
I also love the feminine scent that hangs in the air as I enter the shop. It adds a special little touch to the sensory experience.

just went to la vie en rose today at a mall nearby, was great, she let me try on some swimsuit bottoms and my other panties i picked out to make sure they fit me. ill be going back to that one. hope i get the same girl next time

The second hand stores are great places to find vintage panties and other lingerie without paying the high prices that online shops charge. I once bought an Olga nightgown and matching robe for around $10.00. I saw the exact same one online going for $300.00!
