DEAR MISS ANALTRUMPET: I have an old-fashioned laundry line and like to put my undies and other clothes out in the springtime to get that great fresh outdoor smell without chemicals. Plus, the sun naturally bleaches the whites. But someone has been stealing from my laundry line -- and only the underwear. Usually the panties and bras are taken when I'm at work. I can't stay home to see who is filching things from my line and they aren't going to come if they see my car is home anyway. Do you have any ideas? Why should I have to put my panties in the dryer? Dear Stubborn: Ask a stay-at-home neighbour to come to your house and play Sherlock. Bait the thief with a bunch of thrift-store undies you don't mind losing, and drive off to work while a neighbour or a relative watches throughout the day. It's important your "detective" gets down a good description or takes a photo and see where this person is heading. Though it's a small thing, it's a crime. Alert the police on the non-emergency number in case this panty raider is hitting a lot of different houses in your area and might be caught.

I used to do this when I was a kid. Back then everyone hung their laundry outside. I would race thru the yard on my bicycle and snatch a pair from the line as I went by.

I never snatched panties off the line, just seemed to be too exposed and likely caught.

Besides when I was younger, all my neighbors seemed to be older or bigger women and hardly any younger girls so the lines were all full cut briefs, yes, I love them now, but when I was going through puberty bikini panties were the only ones that were sexy to me.

But I used to check them out any chance I got. I used to ride a bus from my highschool to another one for Vo-Tech classes and would look out the windows for panties on the line.

Isn't this just theft, no matter how you dress it up (pun intended)? I can't imagine doing anything like this. You're stealing someone else's property. That's wrong. If you see a pair of panties that's just irresistable, why not go out and buy them?

I did it once when I was fourteen, when on a return trip home with Ma and Pa I spotted the little beauties on a washing line. As it was early evening turning dusk I thought the chances of them still being there was worth the gamble.

Boy I wished I still had them now because I earned the blessed things in the end by having to cycle a 12 mile round trip and then needing to climb a 6' high wooden fence. Getting over wasn't the problem as I used the bike to stand on, it was getting back over which resulted in me snagging my jacket which got me a scolding off mother.

Sure taught me a lesson and I never did it again, but the rush and the fear as I plucked them off the line I will never forget.

Well I have to admit that I did it MANY times from the age of 13 onwards. While I was delivering newspapers I would see washing that had been left out overnight. Most of my snatches were made quickly and my treasure was stuffed into the newspaper bag over my shoulder. But if I was delivering around tenement blocks...ah well then I could "safely" drop my trousers and wank over "my" new panties while I was inside the tenement. Occasionaly I would pull my trousers and boy pants off and stand in the cold, dark stairwell before dressing in my new panties. And then I discovered bras as well!

I once saw a newspaper boy wanking in my back gardens when I was in my early twenties. I SO wanted to go out and bring him into my house but I didn't want to scare him off. I never saw him again so I don't know why he was there that one Saturday afternoon...but I still remember him fondly, if from a distance! And I often wonder if anyone ever saw me wanking, maybe through the spyhole in their door???

I used to have to walk through the woman's dorm to get to the cafeteria in college. Right by the laundry room. So many of the girls left their laundry unattended in the dryers. It was truly a shame....and their loss
