ONSLOW COUNTY, NC (PIX11)� North Carolina police are now investigating the possibility that an inmate smuggled a 10-inch revolver in his rectum after he was discovered in his cell with the weapon, according to reports.

Police arrested Michael Leon Ward, 22, of Georgia, after a speeding stop Monday. Ward, who had a warrant out for his arrest in an Atlanta murder case, refused to comply with police orders and was brought down with a stun gun. Police arrested him, tacking on marijuana and drug paraphernalia charges after reportedly finding the items in his car during a search.

Once locked in a cell at the Onslow County jail, Ward reportedly summoned the guards, telling them that he feared for his life and had discovered a gun in the toilet -- where police believe he threw it.

In a press release, sheriff's investigators questioned how the gun could have ended up in the cell since Ward had been "strip-searched prior to being booked into a cell block." Investigators also said that Ward was transported to a local hospital "for possible injuries that may have occurred to Ward's rectum where it is believed Ward may have concealed" the gun.

They added that the gun was 'test-fired' and was found to be in working order.

One of his minions is quoted as saying

'it's improper for Uzbeks, if children see them'.
The local Consumer Rights organisation says there is nothing they can do to stop the order, even though it goes against the law.

Shops selling lingerie in the Sergelijsky area have been closed down, as well as underwear sections in department stores.

So the authorities in Tashkent have turned women's 'unmentionables' really into unmentionables, with there sale now illicit.

LANCASTER, Ohio -- Authorities in central Ohio are trying to solve a panties puzzle: why hundreds of pairs of mostly women's underwear were dumped along the side of a road.

Fairfield County Deputy Gary Hummel said Thursday the undergarments were found in trees and on hillsides in several spots this week on a road in Berne Township, about 30 miles southeast of Columbus.

He says some of the panties were still folded the way they'd come in packaging, while others appeared to have been worn. There were nearly 1,700 pairs in all, in a mix of colors and patterns. Hummel says when collected, they filled 10 large trash bags.

He says investigators are "baffled" as to where the panties came from.

No Surprise for Bisexual Men: Report Indicates They Exist

In an unusual scientific about-face, researchers at Northwestern University have found evidence that at least some men who identify themselves as bisexual are, in fact, sexually aroused by both women and men.

The finding is not likely to surprise bisexuals, who have long asserted that attraction often is not limited to one sex. But for many years the question of bisexuality has bedeviled scientists. A widely publicized study published in 2005, also by researchers at Northwestern, reported that �with respect to sexual arousal and attraction, it remains to be shown that male bisexuality exists.�

That conclusion outraged bisexual men and women, who said it appeared to support a stereotype of bisexual men as closeted homosexuals.

In the new study, published online in the journal Biological Psychology, the researchers relied on more stringent criteria for selecting participants. To improve their chances of finding men aroused by women as well as men, the researchers recruited subjects from online venues specifically catering to bisexuals.

They also required participants to have had sexual experiences with at least two people of each sex and a romantic relationship of at least three months with at least one person of each sex.

Men in the 2005 study, on the other hand, were recruited through advertisements in gay-oriented and alternative publications and were identified as heterosexual, bisexual or homosexual based on responses to a standard questionnaire.

In both studies, men watched videos of male and female same-sex intimacy while genital sensors monitored their erectile responses. While the first study reported that the bisexuals generally resembled homosexuals in their responses, the new one finds that bisexual men responded to both the male and female videos, while gay and straight men in the study did not.

Both studies also found that bisexuals reported subjective arousal to both sexes, notwithstanding their genital responses. �Someone who is bisexual might say, �Well, duh!�� said Allen Rosenthal, the lead author of the new Northwestern study and a doctoral student in psychology at the university. �But this will be validating to a lot of bisexual men who had heard about the earlier work and felt that scientists weren�t getting them.�

The Northwestern study is the second one published this year to report a distinctive pattern of sexual arousal among bisexual men.

In March, a study in Archives of Sexual behavior reported the results of a different approach to the question. As in the Northwestern study, the researchers showed participants erotic videos of two men and two women and monitored genital as well as subjective arousal. But they also included scenes of a man having sex with both a woman and another man, on the theory that these might appeal to bisexual men.

The researchers � Jerome Cerny, a retired psychology professor at Indiana State University, and Erick Janssen, a senior scientist at the Kinsey Institute � found that bisexual men were more likely than heterosexuals or gay men to experience both genital and subjective arousal while watching these videos.

Dr. Lisa Diamond, a psychology professor at the University of Utah and an expert on sexual orientation, said that the two new studies, taken together, represented a significant step toward demonstrating that bisexual men do have specific arousal patterns.

�I�ve interviewed a lot of individuals about how invalidating it is when their own family members think they�re confused or going through a stage or in denial,� she said. �These converging lines of evidence, using different methods and stimuli, give us the scientific confidence to say this is something real.�

The new studies are relatively small in size, making it hard to draw generalities, especially since bisexual men may have varying levels of sexual, romantic and emotional attraction to partners of either sex. And of course the studies reveal nothing about patterns of arousal among bisexual women. The Northwestern study included 100 men, closely split among bisexuals, heterosexuals and homosexuals. The study in Archives of Sexual behavior included 59 participants, among them 13 bisexuals.

The new Northwestern study was financed in part by the American Institute of Bisexuality, a group that promotes research and education regarding bisexuality. Still, advocates expressed mixed feelings about the research.

Jim Larsen, 53, a chairman of the Bisexual Organizing Project, a Minnesota-based advocacy group, said the findings could help bisexuals still struggling to accept themselves.

�It�s great that they�ve come out with affirmation that bisexuality exists,� he said. �Having said that, they�re proving what we in the community already know. It�s insulting. I think it�s unfortunate that anyone doubts an individual who says, �This is what I am and who I am.� �

Ellyn Ruthstrom, president of the Bisexual Resource Center in Boston, echoed Mr. Larsen�s discomfort.

�This unfortunately reduces sexuality and relationships to just sexual stimulation,� Ms. Ruthstrom said. �Researchers want to fit bi attraction into a little box � you have to be exactly the same, attracted to men and women, and you�re bisexual. That�s nonsense. What I love is that people express their bisexuality in so many different ways.�

Despite her cautious praise of the new research, Dr. Diamond also noted that the kind of sexual arousal tested in the studies is only one element of sexual orientation and identity. And simply interpreting results about sexual arousal is complicated, because monitoring genital response to erotic images in a laboratory setting cannot replicate an actual human interaction, she added.

�Sexual arousal is a very complicated thing,� she said. �The real phenomenon in day-to-day life is extraordinarily messy and multifactorial.� [/b]

Retail Week recently stumbled upon a customer review on the M&S website of a particularly feminine basque by JohnnyX.

JohnnyX, who gives his gender as male, goes on to remark on the snug fit of the item, concluding that it is �nice to wear under my �man� clothes without anyone knowing so�.

Interestingly, 12 out of 14 other customers ranked the review as helpful. Building on the retailer�s Women�s Institute focus groups, perhaps Mark Bolland should investigate the potential of the cross-dressing market further.

US Airline allows man in panties to fly

US Airways has acknowledged that less than a week before having a college student arrested for allegedly refusing to hike up his saggy pants while boarding, the airline allowed a man wearing little more than women�s underwear, black thigh-high stockings and heels to fly.

On June 16, University of New Mexico football player Deshon Marman was removed from a US Airways flight at San Francisco International Airport and arrested for refusing to follow crew members� requests to hike up his saggy pants.

At the time, an airline spokesperson said that while the airline �does not have a specific dress code �we do ask that our passengers dress in an appropriate manner to ensure the safety and comfort of all of our passengers.�

Now there are reports � and a photo published in the San Francisco Chronicle �showing that six days before the saggy-pants incident, the airline allowed a man to board a flight in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., wearing an outfit that consisted, mostly, of women�s underwear and a short, see-through, cover-up shirt.

Jill Tarlow, a fellow passenger on the Phoenix-bound flight, shared a photo of the scantily-clad man with the airline and the newspaper. US Airways spokeswoman Valerie Wunder confirmed to The Chronicle that she'd received the photo before last week's incident in San Francisco but said employees had been correct not to ask the man to cover himself.

The follow up to last year�s popular event is being organised by local charities Alive and Kicking and the Buttefly Hospice Trust on August 6.

Men and women must dress up in the opposite sex�s costume for the walk around Skegness, stopping off at pubs to make collections along the way.

The most glamorous entrant will be judged at a beauty contest on stage infront of the clock tower as part of the annual Illuminations Switch On.

Tranny fight breaks out in San Diego over who is the prettiest

A vicious catfight between a group of transvestites was caught on tape at a California taco restaurant.

The bust-up happened after the shemales got into an argument over whose bodies were better, according to witnesses.

Once the fight began, tables and chairs went flying along with wigs, high heels and false eyelashes ,while customers look on in horror and bemusement.
One of the transvestites in a white dress repeatedly kicks out at a rival on the floor and another holds off two assailants in dresses by the hair before all three fall over in a heap.

Sid Young, who saw the fight, said it was like the octagon � the name given to the ring in Ultimate Fighting Championship matches.
Young added: �All the dudes were in their stocking caps. It was funny.

�They were arguing over who had the better body and it was just a lot of shouting going on.

�There was about ten of them and it was just nuts. �

The video was later posted on YouTube and has attracted hundreds of hits.

Police arrived at La Fuente restaurant in the San Diego suburb of Hillcrest and broke up the brawl, but no arrests were made.
Since then more fights have broken out in the restaurant, but none between the angry transvestites, and the police have said they will be increasing their patrols in the area.

It is not the only taco bar fight drawing interest on the Internet.

Another fracas in Eastvale, California, has also become a hit on YouTube.

In the brutal 45-second clip, one youth is seen punched to the floor and kicked in the head while four others pitch in and start brawling to the horror of staff and other clients at the Tacos Del Rio eatery.

No arrests have been made in that case either, but police insist they are still looking for those involved.

FREMONT, OHIO -- Police in Fremont say they've caught the man believed to have been posing in panties and sharing the images with Wal-Mart shoppers.

Rodney Kunkle, 44, of Toledo, was arrested by Fremont Police on Thursday on two counts of Pandering Obscenity, a fifth degree felony.

Authorities say that recent customers of the Fremont Wal-Mart have returned to their cars to find photographs of Kunkel wearing female undergarments tucked into the windshields of their vehicles. Kunkel is believed to have posed for the pictures, then put the photographs on the windshields of cars parked in Wal-Mart's lot. He also put the photographs on shelves of the store's cosmetic section, according to police.

Kunkel has admitted to authorities that he placed the nude photographs of himself wearing only female undergarments in and around the store.

13 photographs of Kunkel in women's underwear have been confiscated.

Kunkel is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges in Fremont Municipal Court.

Pink Panty Burglar Jailed

A man who authorities say broke into a Saginaw-area woman's home and was caught naked from the waist down holding a pair of pink panties has been sentenced to a year in jail.

Saginaw County Circuit Judge Darnell Jackson this week sentenced 35-year-old Jayson K. Berde for second-degree home invasion and resisting and obstructing a police officer causing injury. Berde earlier pleaded guilty in the case. In exchange, an initial charge of first-degree home invasion was dropped.

Authorities say he broke into a woman's home March 17 in Saginaw County's Thomas Township, and apparently knew her through an ex-boyfriend.

Police caught him nearby, and an officer suffered minor abrasions trying to apprehend him.

11 Panty Break-ins

OXFORD, Miss. � A Lafayette County grand jury has indicted an Oxford man on 11 counts of burglary related to a series of break-ins in local homes and the theft of women's panties and other under garments.

Prosecutors tell the Oxford Eagle that the grand jury indicted 32-year-old Joseph Paul Lillo earlier this month.

Prosecutors say Lillo is accused of having broken into at least 11 homes, stealing lingerie, bathing suits and photographs of women.

He is being held at the Lafayette County Detention Center without bond.

Lillo faces up to 25 years in prison on each count if convicted.

No trial date has been set.

Ed Markey (D-Mass.) and Joe Barton (R-Texas), who have a history of assailing tech companies including Apple and Google over perceived data transfer snafus, suggested in a letter (PDF) on February 2 that the pop-up permissions window was insufficient "given the sensitivity of personal addresses and mobile phone numbers compared to other information users provide Facebook."

Facebook's response, prepared by Marne Levine, vice president for global public policy, stressed that applications that run on the Facebook platform have long had the ability to ask for information. For example, Levine wrote, "a photo-printing application that prints photos for a user requests permission specifically to access a user's photo; a social-gaming application that allows users to play a game with his or her friends requests permission to access the user' friends list."

In last month's announcement that dealt with contact information, Levine wrote, "we allowed applications to ask users for that information, through a permissions screen...that provided clear and conspicuous notice to the user regarding what information the application is seeking."

And in response to the politicians' point about minors, Levine said that anyone under 13 is prohibited from using Facebook, and the company is "actively considering" whether to allow applications to request information from even older minors.

Markey said in a statement today that he's not satisfied with Facebook's response.

"I don't believe that applications on Facebook should get this information from teens, and I encourage Facebook to wall off access to teen's contact information if they enable this new feature," Markey said. "Facebook has indicated that the feature is still a work in progress, and I will continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure that sensitive personal user data, especially those belonging to children and teenagers, are protected."

Separately, Facebook announced last week that it's asking for comments on a proposed revamp of its privacy policy that's meant to make it easier to understand.

Pioneering airline hires 'Ladyboy' flight attendants

The president of the first Thai airline to hire transsexuals as flight attendants yesterday said he was a "pioneer" and predicted other carriers would follow his lead.

Fledgling airline PC Air has already recruited six crew of the "third sex" and boss Peter Chan said recruitment, driven by a belief in equal rights, would continue.

More than 100 transsexual people applied for the first round of jobs.

Among the successful applicants was Thanyarat "Film" Jiraphatpakorn, winner of the Miss Tiffany beauty pageant in 2007, according to a report in Thailand's Nation newspaper.

"At first I thought they would just take applications but not actually recruit us, as happened at other places before," said the 23-year-old, adding that she was delighted to have been chosen.

NEW ORLEANS � Police are investigating an early morning shooting in which a male prostitute who was dressed as woman was shot near the intersection of Tulane Avenue and South Miro Street, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Around 4 a.m., First District police officers were called to a shooting in the 2400 block of Tulane Avenue, according to police.

According to police, the victim, �a self-admitted prostitute who dresses as a female,� was shot after engaging in sexual acts with the shooter.

�The victim was offered a ride which was refused,� said a statement from the NOPD. �The perpetrator insisted, and again the victim declined. As the victim walked away the perpetrator shouted at the victim. As the victim turned to look back he observed the subject holding a small black semi-automatic handgun.�

The victim said he heard about five shots fired as he ran toward a hotel on Tulane Avenue, according to police. The victim was hit once in the back and sustained one superficial wound from the gunfire.

According to police, the shooter is described as having a medium complexion with a short fade hair style with a wave, was approximately five feet, six inches tall and weighing about 140 lbs. He was wearing a long black t-shirt with a white tank top underneath, navy blue fruit of the loom boxer briefs and dark blue jeans.

The shooter was seen fleeing in a light gray four-door sedan, possibly a Mazda or Infiniti, with charcoal gray interior.

CARE worker Andrew Millington was sacked after turning up in a dress and telling colleagues: “Call me Rachel.”

The 24-year-old transsexual had changed his name by deed poll in preparation for a sex-swap op.

But days after he unveiled his plan to become a woman, bosses fired him.

Last night Rachel revealed she is suing them for unfair dismissal, sexual discrimination and loss of earnings.

She hopes to use any compensation she receives to fund surgery to become a woman.

Rachel, from Ermine, near Lincoln, who is 6ft 3in, said: “I think it’s ridiculous and completely unfair.

Rachel claims she approached bosses at Housing and Support Solutions Ltd to say she would be coming to work as a woman,

but says they were unsupportive and dismissed it as a “phase”.

She said: “I couldn’t believe their reaction. They spoke to me like a silly child.

“They gave me an appraisal and said that, although my work was good, I had made other staff feel uncomfortable and ordered me to apologise to them. I have never felt so embarrassed.”

The company, based in Cleethorpes, Lincs, was unavailable for comment but bosses are expected to deny all the claims at a hearing next month.

Men beaten for cross dressing

KHARTOUM (Sudan) - A SUDANESE court had 19 Muslim youths flogged in public on Wednesday for wearing 'women's clothes.'

The punishment was carried out immediately after the sentencing by the court in Omdurman, which lies across the Nile river from Khartoum.

Hundreds of people looked on as each young man received 30 lashes, an AFP correspondent reported.

They were convicted under laws that forbid 'indecent clothing' or offend public morality. They must also pay fines ranging between 500 and 1,000 Sudanese pounds (S$281.60 to S$563.20 dollars).

The Sudanese press described the men as 'homosexuals' attending a same sex marriage. Northern Sudan is governed by Islamic law, which forbids homosexuality.

The law forbidding 'indecent clothing' was brought into the spotlight last year when a court sentenced a woman journalist to be flogged for wearing trousers. The sentence was commuted to a fine after a public outcry.

Administrators of an Indiana hospital involved in a discrimination complaint say the hospital plans to remedy problems incurred by a transgender woman who entered the hospital seeking treatment, but was ridiculed and turned away in July.

Mike Haley, the president and CEO of Ball Memorial Hospital addressed the reports Wednesday, and said the hospital is working with Indiana Equality and the Indiana Transgender Rights Advocacy Alliance to review its policies, employee benefits, and diversity training. Ball Memorial will also implement a Diversity Council to engage local community members on better serving their needs, according to the statement.

Erin Vaught went to the hospital on July 18, but when she tried to submit her information for hospital records, two workers entered her gender as male, despite her identification saying she is female. Vaught said she pointed out that her ID card identifies her as female, to which one worker snickered and the other made an annoyed face. When she was taken to the examination room, hospital staff referred to her as "he-she," "it," and a "transvestite." Two hours passed before she saw a doctor, who then said he couldn't treat her because she is transgender.

KUWAIT CITY, The Chairperson of Kuwait Society for Outstanding Family and Women Sporting Club, Sheikha Fareeha Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, has refuted claims about some transvestites confessing that external influences are planning to use them to bomb certain sensitive locations, including the security apparatus, and to assassinate notable personalities, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Sheikha Fareeha in a telephone chat noted she was in Bahrain, as head of the Kuwaiti Women Sporting Club delegation to the 22nd Arab Table Tennis Tournament. She maintained that transvestites still remain Kuwaitis and loyal to the country, even as they suffer from gender status disorder.
She pointed out that society has long been struggling to curb the problem of gender status disorder through social and psychological treatments, indicating the society is working to create the right environment to correct such abnormal behavior.

Meanwhile, MP Dr Hassan Jowhar has urged the Negative Phenomena Committee to follow-up the revelation accredited to Sheikha Fareeha that certain external forces are planning to employ some transvestites to assassinate notable politicians in the country. He suspected Zionists could be behind such a plan, if it is true.

MP Jowhar suggested a meeting with Sheikha Fareeha to gather enough information about the development, considering the statement came from a notable leader in the country.
He said transvestite is alien to the Kuwaiti society, so getting rid of it is responsibility of the executive and legislative authorities, and the media.

Madeira police said they've arrested a backyard exhibitionist who was wearing practically nothing, and neighbors say it's no laughing matter.

Police said they were called to a Juler Avenue home late Wednesday after the homeowners said they saw their neighbor, Brian Luedeker, 37, in their back yard.

The homeowners said Luedeker was masturbating while wearing only a black thong. He was peering into a bedroom. And he was spotted by a teenager when a dog wouldn't stop barking.

A lot of folks in Madeira said what happened on Wednesday night was comical, but neighbors aren't laughing.

"I do not find it amusing. I do not find it funny at all," said Holly Abner, a neighbor. "You should be able to get the answers to the questions that you need and not have it be the next joke of the day."

Luedeker was arrested and charged with public indecency, criminal trespassing and voyeurism.

Another neighbor said this is out of character for Luedeker. Melissa Stegmaier said he has a learning disability and most likely didn't mean to cause the commotion he did.

"That shouldn't say anything about this neighborhood," Stegmaier said. "It's very nice, very family-oriented and that would be a very rare, isolated case."

Luedeker was released from jail early Thursday. He will go to court on Aug. 27.

Rome - Using hidden cameras, a journalist from Panorama magazine filmed three priests visiting gay nightspots and taking part in homosexual activity.
The article, called Gay Priests' Nights on the Town, describes how the reporter was assisted by a gay accomplice as they worked on the article for the weekly magazine, which is owned by Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
The Daily Mail said it detailed how three priests - two Italians and a Frenchman - took part in gay events and had casual sex.
Panorama said that one priest, who they called Carlo, willingly put on his cassock to have sex with the reporter's accomplice, and this was filmed by hidden camera. The reporter and accomplice later attended a Mass celebrated by Carlo.
Today there was no immediate comment from the Italian Bishops Conference and the Vatican, although BBC News reported that an Italian Catholic diocese responded to the article by denouncing homosexual priests for their double life and saying they should not be in the priesthood.
The diocese said: "We don't wish any ill-will against them, but we cannot accept that because of their behaviour the honour of all the others is sullied."
The Catholic Church forbids priests to have sex and considers homosexual acts to be a sin. In 2005, Pope Benedict XVI issued an instruction barring actively gay priests from seminaries. He said men who practice homosexuality, or have deep-seated homosexual tendencies should not be admitted to seminaries. The only exception was to be for men who had given up homosexuality at least three years earlier.
Panorama editor Giorgio Mule told The Daily Mail: “This was a two week investigation and was not aimed at creating a scandal but showing that a certain section of the clergy behaves very differently.”
